GARAGES

Applications for 2023 Garage Hosts are now closed. Our slate of artists and hosts will be posted soon.

Previous year garage hosts are contacted to determine if they wish serve as hosts again. All interested garage hosts must fill out a garage application. New garages will be added, as needed, either to existing neighborhood clusters or as a cluster of 2-3 garages in a new neighborhood. For new garages, preference is given to garages within a cluster and those hosting multiple artists.

As Garage Galleries has grown in popularity, the planning committee wants to make it as enjoyable and accessible as possible for our visitors. Our goals are as follows:

1. To strive to cluster garage locations in clusters, within 1-2 blocks

2. To have more than one artist in each garage (2-4 being ideal)

3. To limit the number of garages to about 30, with at least 70 artists

Garage Host Responsibilities:

Hosts will provide a space for artists to set up and display their work.
After artists are assigned to each garage and prior to the event date, the host will communicate with the artists as to logistics for set up and take-down of work.
Hosts, or their designee, will be present for the duration of the event. They are encouraged to greet and interact with visitors and artists.
